lyrics
On winter solstice four years gone
A singing witch and Druid man
Made music for two winters more
Verses telling Pagan lore
And as His Witch she sung her spells
By candle's light she played as well with him
Till flame burned dim.
Over time it came to pass
A broken bond, an ended art
T'old witch began to sing alone
Of cycle maiden, mother, crone
And under moon she'd write her tales
Cast her spells by candle's flame they burned
While wheel turned.
Through cast a circle ask for them
She found a band of minstrel men
She need to sing alone no more
Told her tales with all the four
And so their merry troupe was born
Imbolc day before the dawn was sun
Their bond begun.
Time has passed so many moons
The troupe they play their Pagan tunes
Tell their tales in beat and strings of
Aces, pages, kings and queens
Their Wiccan words by moonlight played
Voices lift the Goddess praised in verse
Our Mother Earth.
The future though it's given to none
The troupe they play their music on
Sing their love of moon and stars of
Chalice sword and Wiccan arts
And as the music fills their songs
The Goddess knows that it belongs to her
Amarynthia!
